When One Door Closes, Another Door Opens

Whether you are buying your first home as a couple, expecting a new child, transitioning to a more permanent work-at home situation, or getting a divorce, it's important to have a realtor with the financial acumen and emotional intelligence to help you through the process. I am a residential real estate agent at Compass with over 35 years of experience  representing buyers and sellers in San Diego County. As a Realtor, my goal is to provide my clients with the most accurate information, so that they are empowered to make well-informed decisions for now and for the future.

If you are going through a transition, there are a few things to remember:

1. Your Home Is Also My Client

Your home is one of your most valuable assets. Ongoing home maintenance and occasional design updates are essential to preserving its value. When you decide to sell, how your home will compare to the competition is the most crucial information a real estate professional can provide to a seller/homeowner.  In today’s market, 90% of home buyers are expecting what they see on HDTV. It’s my job to show your home in its finest light to maximize your home’s value.  Compass Concierge can front the costs of home improvements, such as painting, landscaping and staging to address deferred maintenance in order to prepare a home for sale. Additionally, I can offer a consultation and referrals to help you get your home ready to show and sell.

2. You Are Not Alone

Divorcing and remarrying are nothing new, but these days, technology, modern medicine  and evolving societal norms, make starting over even more feasible for a larger swath of people. If you know someone who is getting a divorce, let them know they are not alone. Many couples are divorcing or separating in the middle of their lives to start a new chapter.
Like many of my clients, I have gone through the divorce process. Even in the best separation, there will be bumps in the road. My team has developed a system of communicating with each spouse in a neutral way to maximize effectiveness. It is very important, during this process, for each party to be heard and to be equally represented.

3. My Commitment to You

As your real estate agent, I will respect your privacy, while also understanding and listening to your needs with complete discretion and confidentiality. Let me help you make the most out of your transition to your NEW life!  My door is always open...
